Rabbit Beach on Lampedusa was recently voted the best beach in the world on TripAdvisor. At the same time, the island had become a graveyard for boats that ferried refugees and migrants from Africa. And now, journalists, artists, museums and galleries, and even marketing specialists have taken an interest in the wrecks. Waste No. 2 is an ironic portrait of Europe and a bitter film about these newcomers, who are noticeably absent from it.
