This time, Jan Ijäs focuses his attention on Théodore Géricault's famous eponymous painting, shipwrecked migrant boats on Lampedusa and old cars used to bring refugees from Russia to Lapland. Over time, Géricault's once scandalous painting, now admired in the Louvre, became a symbol of simultaneously despair and of hope.
